Why mediation instead of therapy or legal action?
Great question. Therapy is ideal for long-term emotional healing, and courts can resolve disputes through litigation. Neither is designed to help people co-create practical agreements to preserve relationships. Mediation bridges that gap. It's efficient, cost-effective, relationship-centered, and empowering.
What if the other person isn’t willing to participate?
Mediation is voluntary for all participants, so some may choose not to engage. I offer coaching as an alternative—supporting you in making the best decision in your situation, even if you’re navigating it solo.
What if it gets uncomfortable?
Conflict is hard and often uncomfortable, but I'm here to make it manageable. We'll create a process where emotions are welcome, boundaries are honored, and your needs take priority. You can always pause, regroup, and step away as needed. Discomfort can foster growth when approached appropriately.
How much does it cost?
I primarily work through The Center for Family Resolution. All pricing can be found in their forms. If you require flexible payment options or have related questions, contact 970-480-7411 or libby@conflictfromtheheart.com. I will do my best to ensure my restorative conflict resolution services are accessible and relevant to all.
From the Heart isn’t just about resolving conflict—it’s about restoring relationships, reclaiming your voice, and moving forward with purpose.
